Converted coachman's cottage
Ardavon Cottage, formerly a Coachman's cottage and stable has been converted into a modern chalet, and is set in the grounds of Ardavon House.
The cottage has a private rear garden with patio area.
The accommodation is spacious and comfortable and consists of one double and one twin-bedded room, both with wash-hand basins, and with sufficient space for a camp bed or cot, which can be provided; Sitting Room overlooking rear garden; Kitchen with dining area and Bathroom with separate shower. Colour TV, Fridge and Microwave. Bed linen is provided. All electric with night storage heating.
Nethy Bridge is a friendly, picturesque village with beautiful views over the rolling countryside to the Cairngorm Mountains. It is ideally situated for all Spey Valley activities - golf hill-walking, climbing, skiing, bird-watching, watersports on Loch Morlich and Loch Insh, pony trekking and fishing on the River Spey.
Nethy Forest is just across the road and Abernethy golf Course is a 5 minute walk. There are plenty of places of interest in the area including the excellent Landmark Visitor Centre at Carrbridge, Kincraig Wildlife Park, Revack Highland Estate and distilleries on the Whisky Trail.
There is a general Grocers/Post Office and a butcher shop in the village. Grantown-on-Spey is 5 miles away, Aviemore 12 miles and Inverness 30 miles.
