part of the Cairngorms National Park very close to the Abernethy Forest and the

We have two comfortable guest rooms – both en suite. The Double
room has a bath and the Twin room has a shower. Bedrooms have electric heating,
tea and coffee making facilities, and a hair dryer. Guests share a separate lounge
where breakfast is served. It has board games, TV and a radio. Our house is not
well suited to the requirements of those with small children.

We offer an ample and wide choice of cooked or cold items including Full Scottish
breakfast or lighter dishes, such as yoghurt, cereals or fruit. We can cater for
special diets if notified of your requirements before you come to stay.

THE GARDEN
Guests
are welcome to walk or sit in our garden. We have a wide variety of birds in the
garden attracted by numerous feeders which also bring in red squirrels and wood
mice.

LOCAL
WALKS AND ACTIVITIES
We are within 4 miles of the RSPB Loch Garten Osprey
Reserve, close to areas frequented by deer and where badgers, pine martens and
capercaillies live. We are 1 mile off the Speyside Way and welcome both walkers
and cyclists. The village of Nethy Bridge is criss-crossed by “Explore Abernethy”
waymarked walks – and one of the routes passes our front gate. The centre of the
village is an easy and attractive 1 mile riverside walk from our house. On a clear
day we get good views of Cairngorm 9 miles away.
OTHER SERVICES OFFERED
We are able to put guests in touch with a local wildlife guide if required.
Guests’ laundry may be washed at a charge of £5 per load.
