The Cottage

Originally built in 1870, this original all-timber cottage has been carefully restored in 1994 by the Dean family of the Lazy Duck Hostel and Fhuarain Forest Cottages. It is furnished and equipped to provide a home from home for families or small groups. Rebuilt to highest modern standards, accommodating 5 to 6 people, the cottage still benefits from its original heavy double timber roof, long since hidden under an outer cladding, making it cool and comfortable in summer and cosy warm in winter.

Situated just a few minutes walk from the centre of Nethy Bridge, Flox Cottage faces South within its own fenced garden which opens, to the rear, directly into the network of woodland paths in Balnagowan Woods leading to the village golf course.
