Animal Tracks and Signs

Join us to explore the hidden world of tracking, looking at animal tracks and signs.

Join us to explore the hidden world of tracking. Learning the art of wildlife tracking is a great way for nature enthusiasts of all ages to hone their observation and detective skills and build their knowledge of wildlife and place. Sessions will be lead by certified wildlife tracker Dan Puplett.

This event will be an introduction to tracks and sign, looking at a range of sign including footprints, homes, scat, bones and feeding signs. There will be an indoor session to look at artifacts and a walk in Dell Woods to find tracks and signs in the wild! The walk will be up to 5km in length and includes sections off the footpaths on uneven terrain.
