Castle Roy’s Summer Car Boot Sale

Castle Roy’s Summer Car Boot Sales are set to become a regular fixture in the Strathspey summer calendar!
Held on the first Sunday of every month from May to September, our friendly, informal car boot sales take place in the spectacular setting of Castle Roy, just outside Nethy Bridge.
Whether you are having a clear-out, looking for a bargain, searching for something unusual or simply fancy a browse, come along and join us. Sellers can bring everything from household bits and pieces, books and toys to garden items, collectables and those mysterious things that have been sitting in the back of a cupboard for years waiting for their moment of glory.
There is no need to book, although you are very welcome to reserve a place in advance. Gates open for sellers at 10.00am and for buyers at 11.00am. We suggest a £10 donation to the Castle Roy Trust from sellers, helping us to care for and maintain this remarkable historic site.
And there can’t be many car boot sales with a backdrop quite like this one. Castle Roy is a fascinating medieval fortress, with wonderful views across Strathspey towards the Cairngorms, so you can combine bargain hunting with a visit to one of the area’s most atmospheric historic sites. Castle Roy itself is free to visit.
The sales will run on the first Sunday of May, June, July, August and September, and we hope they will become a permanent and much-loved part of the summer at Castle Roy.
